This past week I was fortunate enough to spend six days away from home on summer vacation with my daughter, her husband and my two grandsons. I learn so much from my grandsons and they fill my heart with love and joy. I'm certain if you are grandparent, you know exactly how I feel!
In the morning my grandson who is 4 would wake me up at 5:00 or 6:00 and ask me to tell him a funny story of when I was little girl. I found this to be such a bonding experience and loved our conversations each morning. My 2-year-old grandson loved singing silly songs.
I also learn much from my daughter and her husband. They discipline in positive ways, if the boys are fighting over a toy or book, they ask them in gentle tone "to share with your brother and he will share with you."
My grandsons and daughter have inspired me in many ways. My kids’ site and book are a result of watching my daughter teach my grandsons the lessons I taught her as a child. It’s never too late to change and leave a legacy of health and happy memories!
